Strictly judge Alesha Dixon to crown UK’s Queen of Chat
Singer and Strictly Come Dancing star Alesha Dixon, British & Irish Lions head coach Sir Ian McGeechan and former rugby International and Strictly star Kenny Logan attending crowning ceremony for the FirstCape Café Collection's UK Queen of Chat, Christine Taylor.
Alesha Dixon crowns Christine Taylor as the UK's Queen of Chat and presents her with £2,000 prize money and year's supply of FirstCape Café Collection wine.
FirstCape Café Collection teamed up with Alesha Dixon to find the UK's Queen of Chat - the chattiest, most fun, engaging and bubbliest female - to reflect their lighter style wine range. After 10 finalists were chosen from video clips entered online at cafecollection.co.uk and put to the public vote, the nation chose Christine Taylor, who received more than a third of all votes cast.
Christine, from Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, will donate half her prize money to the Southend Breast Unit where she was treated for cancer in 2000 and use the other half to take her precious grandchildren on holiday.
The ceremony takes place at the Richmond Athletic Ground, home of FirstCape sponsored London Scottish RFC, following the announcement of FirstCape's sponsorship of the British & Irish Lions 2013 tour to Australia.
